chili pepper vs. cinnamon
so today i made German Pancakes and they turned out amazing! they climbed up the side of the casserole dish evenly on all sides. then mom went to find cinnamon to put on it and she grabbed chili pepper and put it on hers before she realized it. it was funny. i was just laughing at her. well she finds the cinnamon and puts in on and then she lets me try a piece after she had a few pieces herself and surprisingly the cinnamon and chili pepper neutralized each other out. there was just a really small kick to the pancake because of the chili pepper but it was so small i dont think that anyone else would have noticed.

Finely I up date!!!
Ok so here it is the end of June and I'm finely updating my blog.
In Jan. Shane turned 44!!!!
In Feb. we have been married for 24 yrs. It just doesn't seem like that long.
March not much went on. Shane started flowers!!!!
April: Katie went off to collage. We miss her alot but we know that it's were she should be at this time. I cried some on the way home after I dropped her and her friend Tiffany off. I prayed about them to be safe and for me to feel at peace, and I got my answer!!!!! It was, that's were she needs to be and I have peace in my heart that she will be safe and have a Great year!!! And she has!
May: Staci finished here first year in high school!! She will be a Jr. next year. I had a good mother's day too.
June: We sold our old (1960) trailer and bought a "new" (1978) trailer that has a bathroom in it. YA! Shane's dad had a birthday he's now 66! We had a surprise birthday party for him. My step dad had a birthday he's 77! Katie came home for father's day weekend! We had a big get together at our house for her. We had about 21 people show up (on a rainy day), so we ate inside and had a blast. The girls gave Shane penguin things so the traditions continues on. Even in the summer. Katie only has a month to go till she comes home. She has to be out by 10:00 am on July 24th.

The gloved one (Michael Jackson) died today.

Christmas this year was a little low because John was not here with us.
He was with his gilrfriends family .
I guess that my kids are growing up faster then I want them to.
But the most importent thing is we did get to see him this week . Shane was home and everybody is healthy. We have are friends and family near us. I'm thankful for them and all the lessons we have learned this year. May next year be as good to us as this last year has been. And we are thankful for our friends the Scoresby's especially Keri we are greatful you are still with us. Thank you for all the laughs we have had together!!!!!!!
There will be many, many, many more.

Shane has become the mascot of the penguins !!!!!! Last year we were sitting in a friends
(Keri & Steve's) hot tub, and she challenged us to become a polar bear. To be a polar bear you have to sit in the hot tub then roll in the snow and get back in the hot tub. Ok no biggie for me I grow up in Lava Hot Springs ,Id we did this every winter at the hot baths. So keri did it , I did it but Shane just wanted to sit . So he never rolled in the snow. From there on out Shane has been a penguin and he is every proud of it. This year he got a penguin bowl, towel, game, salt & pepper shakersmug, a stuffed penguin, and last penguin ornaments!!!!!!!!
Sadie Hawkins
Staci had a great time at Sadie Hawkins with Jared, Matt, & Tayshia. They meet at our house, had dinner, watched a movie. Then went to the dance. They were all great at the house and dance. Staci and Jared had sore knees so they hopped on one leg when they danced!!
